Reptilase
A haemostatic coagulant available as a lyophilised powder derived from snake venom. Reptilase is indicated to stop bleeding in surgery, obstetrics, internal medicine, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology and dentistry. It is also indicated as prophylaxis before surgical interventions to decrease the tendency to bleed, to avoid bleeding in the operation field and post-operative bleeding.
